Luit Homes ("we", "us", "our") operates luithomes.com and the Luit Homes app, a booking platform for hotels, homestays and rooms across North East India. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, phone number and email address, when you make a booking or contact a property
  • Booking details — check-in/check-out dates, room preferences, number of guests
  • Payment information processed at checkout (see "Payments" below)

Information collected automatically

  • Device location, only if you choose to use "stays near me" — used to find nearby hotels and never stored beyond that search
  • Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site working correctly

How we use this information

  • To create and confirm your booking with the hotel or homestay you've chosen
  • To contact you about a booking — confirmations, changes, cancellation or refund status
  • To show you nearby stays when you use location-based search
  • To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the platform secure

Who we share it with

We share your name, contact details and booking details with the specific hotel or homestay you book, so they can prepare for your stay. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card and payment details are entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout and are not stored on Luit Homes' own servers.

Data retention

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide customer support, handle disputes, and meet accounting and legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

  • Location access for "stays near me" is optional — you can decline it and still search by destination
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us below

Children's privacy

Luit Homes is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
